We all are well familiar with the word 'Economy'; perhaps we also know that this word regulates our lives in many forms. In our day - to - day lives we also come across some peculiar jargons like: NASDAQ, NYSE, Dow, S&P: but we rarely understand pretty well what they mean and how they function and what impact do they have on our economy. I am initiating a small step to introduce you to the world of stock market around us. It's my petite effort to bring the best of the stock market updates, jargons, technology and news reel to acquaint my fellow companions about the recent activities of stock market.  

I shall begin my blog with a brief introduction of jargons: NASDAQ, NYSE, Dow and S&P. I believe that everyone must be aware of these financial institutions and must update themselves with what is happening on an International level and what these International financial agencies are doing. 

NASDAQ : 

National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotations: is an American Stock Exchange. NASDAQ primarily evolved as a U.S. based equities exchange in 1971. It was founded by the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) Worldwide it is recognized as a global financial technology, Information and trading services provider to capital markets. 

It operates in over 50 offices in 26 countries across 6 continents with around 3500 colleagues - in every capital market. It is the second largest exchange in the world by market capitalization after New York Stock Exchange. 

NASDAQ is owned and operated by The NASDAQ OMX Group. It is headquartered at New York, NY. NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. is an American Multinational Financial Service Corporation that owns and operates the NASDAQ Stock Market and 8 Europena Stock Exchanges namely: American Stock Exchange, Copenhagen Stock Exchange, Helsinki Stock Exchange, Iceland Stock exchange, Riga Stock Exchange, Stockholm Stock Exchange, Tallinn Stock Exchange and NASDAQ OMX vilnius.   

Its President and CEO is Robert Greifeld.

NYSE:

Based in the New York city, New York Stock Exchange is the largest equity based exchange worldwide. It is based on the total market capitalization of its listed securities. At the time of its establishment NYSE was a private organization, it became a public entity in the year 2005 following the acquisition of electronic trading exchange Archipelago.

Because of its long operating history, NYSE is home to the majority of the world's largest and best-known companies. Foreign-based corporations can list their shares on the NYSE if they adhere to certain Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) rules known as listing standards.

The NYSE works through MOnday to Friday 9:30 am - 4:00 pm (ET).    

DowJones Industrial Average:

It is a price - weighted average of 30 significant stocks traded on the New York Stock Exchange and the NASDAQ. The DJIA was invented by Charles Dow in the year 1896.

It is one of the oldest and single most watched index in the world. It is often referred as "The DOW". It includes the companies like General Electric, Disney, Exxon, and Microsoft.

When the Television networks say 'that the market is up today' they generally refer to DOW.

S and P's 500:

Standard and Poor's 500 (S&P 500) is an American Stock Market index based o the capitalizations of 500 large companies having common stock listed in the NYSE & NASDAQ.

Its index components and their weightings are determined by S&P Dow JOnes Indices. S&P's 500 is different form U.S. stock market indices , like : Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) or NASDAQ index, because of tis diverse constituency and weighted methodolgy.

S&P's 500 is the most commonly followed equity indices, and many consider it one of the best representations of the U.S. stock market.

It was developed and continues to be maintained by S&P Dow Jones Indices: a joint venture majority-owned by McGraw Hill Financial. The DJIA was at one time the most renowned index for U.S. stocks but, because the DJIA contains only 30 companies, most people agree that the S&P 500 is a better representation of the U.S. market.

When a planet establishes its eye contact

 with its own zodiac sign 

Quite often, the scholars of astrological discipline make this banal mistake while reading the birth chart, which, to them is of little consideration and makes no significant difference in the astrological results. But in my opinion, such an ignorance of minute calculations in astrology, changes the results of astrology very significantly. Minute astrological calculation is the soul of astrological reading for a perfect consultation. Perhaps, I perceive astrology as a discipline of Math : just like minute mistakes in maths changes the result of equations, in the same way disregarding some minute calculations in astrology can generate all together very different results than what is expected.     

Before I begin, I would like to proclaim that, I do not intend to hurt the wisdom and intelligence of the scholars of this field neither do I wish to belittle anybody's expertise over this issue.  

What I am going to mention here, is all related to an individual's astrological birth chart. It is about their natural instinct, there level of capabilities to perform tasks: when they would be at high on their energy level and under what circumstances they will feel lethargic, whether they will be strong headed or the reverse, under what circumstances they would be able to excel their challenges etc, etc. Please note: that I do not intend to discuss in my article about the placement of planets in the 12 houses of birth chart, their direct eye contact, their current condition and all.    

By this article I am trying to highlight the basic rule of astrological readings that reflects the astrological outcomes to greater levels. Basis on this I have entitled my article as - "When a planet establishes its eye contact with its own zodiac sign".   

Now, I proceed with all my courage and confidence.......

Whenever a house in a birth chart is visioned by its own zodiac sign or in other words, it establishes direct eye contact with its ruling planet, such conditions provides immense strength to the results of that house. Even if this type of eye contact is established by some devious planets like Mangal (Mars) or Shani (Saturn) or any angelic planets, under these circumstances also the resultant will be increased immensely. The only condition which is important to note is, that by what degree is any planet is establishing the eye contact with its own zodiac sign and what its current position in the birth chart is. While making calculations, one must consider the fact whether the planet under study is a benevolent planet or malevolent planet. The impact of the resultant increases when the house is seen by its zodiac sign 

I am illustrating my point through Kundali (Birth Chart) of the first Prime Minister of Independent India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Ji. Apart from other traits in Pandit Ji's kundali, my firm believe in my statement further establishes my point.   

Whenever I see this birth chart, I believe that the reason behind the persistence of will and cognitive sharpness is because of the 10th house. If you consider the tenth house of this birth chart (tenth house is looked upon as the house of deeds, father, profession etc.) you will notice that Mangal (Mars) is establishing 8th eye eye contact with its own Zodiac Sign Aries (Number 1 in the tenth house). Establishing its 4th eye contact, it is looking at Sagittarius (Number 9 in the sixth house). The sixth house in birth chart is looked upon as the house of enemies, physical illness etc. The sixth house is captured or occupied by Jupiter and Ketu: this union is a union of friendship. These two planets share good relations with each other. Jupiter is positioned in its own zodiac sign (Sagittarius) and Ketu is considered as a good friend of Jupiter. On this union Mangal (Mars) is establishing its amicable eye contact. Planet Mangal (Mars) is looked upon as the captain or commander. Mangal (Mars) shares a propitious union with both Jupiter and Ketu and therefore this eye contact gave immense power to Pandit Ji to fight against the enemies with prowess. This eye contact also established Pandit Ji as a great leader who also succeeded his political contemporaries with his valor.         

In this birth chart Mangal (Mars) is further establishing its 7th eye contact (direct eye contact) with Jupiter's another zodiac sign Pisces (Number 12 in ninth house) .This eye contact is also considered as benevolent eye contact. In a birth chart, 9th house is looked upon as the house of luck, spirituality, god fearing etc. Due to this direct eye contact of Mangal (Mars) in the 9th house with Pisces, Pandit Ji was a devotional person who firmly believed in spirituality. His religious believes is borne out of this eye contact. With this union, Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru Ji became successful in all his political endeavors and as a consequence, he fought for Indian Independence with heroism and succeeded all his political contemporaries and became the first Prime Minister of India.          

 

Now, I will give an explanation about Mangal's (Mars) 8th eye contact. Mangal is the owner of 1st (Aries) and 8th (Scorpio) Zodiac Sign. This planet Mangal (Mars) is positioned in the third house of Pandit Ji's birth chart. Third house is looked upon as the house of gallantry and is establishing its 8th eye contact with its very own zodiac sign (Number 1 in the 10th house). What a beautiful conjunction this planet is establishing with its own zodiac sign. This is amazing! This eye contact is established at 10th house which is looked upon as the house of father, determination etc. Planet Mercury is establishing its eye contact  ( 4th, 7th and 8th)  with its favourable planets  (Jupiter and Ketu (4th eye contact), Number 12 in 9th house (7th eye contact) and Number 1 in 10th house (8th eye contact)). Aries(Number1) is its own zodiac sign. Particularly, its 8th eye contact at 10th house with Aries is primarily responsible that established Pandit Jawaharla Nehru what he is known for today. This 8th eye contact has given all the strength to Jawahar Lal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of Independent India, all the vigor, determination and fearless capabilities (This is what I believe is the real strength of this birth chart).  

For this very reason, I firmly believe that if, a planet establishes its cordial eye contact with its own zodiac sign then, the candidate become all capable and powerful to endure his self established position among-st all. 

NOTE: If you will observe the birth chart of Pandit Jawaharla Nehru, you will notice that the 10th house is the strongest in the chart. This house is in contact with other three planets: Venus, Mars and Jupiter. Venus' and Mars' 7th direct eye contact on the 10th house and Jupiter's eye contact which is the most pure and angelic planet, it is establishing its fifth eye contact on the 10th planet. Due to these eye contacts the 10th house is getting the power and is the main cause of Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru's success and fame world over.

Transition of Mercury in Gemini : July 5 , 2015

Surya (Sun) and Mangal (Mars) were already positioned in Gemini sign. Now, from July 5, 2015 afternoon Budh (Mercury) will also enter in Gemini sign. The conjunction of these two planets i.e Surya (Sun) and Mercury (Budh) is known as " Buddhaditya Yog" (in hindi/sanskrit). Sun is considered as King and Mercury is considered as Prince. These two planets share good friendship as well. Whenever Mercury is positioned with any planet in a birth chart, it gives immense strength to the respective planet. In the same way, Mercury will now give immense strength to Sun till July 17, 2015. Mars is already positioned with Sun (both are positioned in Gemini sign) and Mars is also considered as a planet of struggle. Sun is considered as the King and Mars is considered as the Leader. Now, the transition of Mercury in Gemini will strengthen the basic features of Sun and Mars.

In the current time, the title of "King" is considered as the head of the ruling government. You will notice that, in some countries King is considered as the Prime Minister or a Chief Minister or the President and with the like notions in other parts of the world. Till now, where ever these diplomats were facing troubles in their political career, now will conquer upon the adverse situations in their political arena. This will continue till July 17, 2015. These diplomats will either conquer upon the situations or shall collect enough strength that will help them in facing the tough situations.  

This planetary position (Mercury in Gemini along with Sun and Mars) will also strengthen Gemini and Sagittarius signs as well. This will happen because the current transition of Mercury in Gemini will establish a direct eye contact along with three planets Sun, Mercury and Mars with the 9th sign which is governed by Sagittarius. Gemini and Sagittarius shall also get benefit by this transition till July 17, 2015. The first direct eye contact of Mangal (Mars) will be established with Virgo (Kanya Raashi, 6th Zodiac Sign), 7th direct eye contact will be established with Sagittarius (Dhanu Raashi, 9th Zodiac Sign) and 8th direct eye contact will be established with Capricorn (Makar Raashi, 10th Zodiac Sign). All these Zodiac signs shall be benefitted by Mars due to its direct eye contact (Mars establishes direct eye contact at 4th, 7th and 8th house from its position in any birth chart).   

Apart from these diplomats or political dignitaries, anyone who is the head or chief of any organization will get the benefits from this transition. All those individuals who have Gemini in or as their ascendant in their birth chart shall get the most benefits from this transition.
